Well, Summer is finally here. Its been a long and wet time coming but the sun has arrived in Toronto.

There is a new addition to the Canada’s Best Store Fixtures group of companies. Canada’s Best Merchandising Services Inc. has officially hit the street and nicely rounds out our full turnkey service offering to our valued clients.

This World Class group of professionals consists of installation and merchandising service professionals that are well versed in all substrates from wood installations to gondola shelving setups. Our merchandisers are able to planogram your floorplan and manage the entire set up process from product ordering to receipt of goods and implementation on the floor to the shelves of your store. We are able to suggest best practices for cross merchandising and use our strength and knowledge to optimize your stores performance.

We are now fully enabled to bring your project from napkin sketch to design/engineering, project management, manufacture or import, logistics and consolidation, installation and merchandising, all under one roof.

Our head office renovations are near completion and the entire front office staff will be back under one roof again at 170 Sharer Road on July 5th. These have been a challenging few months while construction was happening and we had people displaced in different buildings. We look forward to being able to better communicate with one another again and we will be hosting an open house in September to show our customer and vendor partners the tremendous investment we have made in our future together. More to come on that.

Customer golf tourneys are in full swing and always a great opportunity to spend time with our client partners while raising money for a good cause. In the last month, we’ve done the HBC tourney in Milton, The Source in Bradford, Home Hardware in St Jacobs and Moxies in Newmarket. The game doesn’t get any better and the liver gets a good workout, but we have a great time with our clients getting to know them better.

We’re proud to announce that we were successful in the recent tender to provide all of the backroom shelving and racking elements to Shoppers Drug Mart. This is yet another shining example of the strength and diversity of our product offering joined with our partners at Lozier Inc. We had the executive team from SDM at our facilities last week reviewing and approving our prototype units and it was a very successful meeting.

We’ve recently completed another two Fortino’s Supermarket bulk food departments. This updated design reflects an upscale environment while providing an enhanced shopping experience. Feel free to visit.
