Well, our team has once again been recognized as a leader in our industry. We are proud to have been chosen as Manufacturer of the Year by the Vaughan Chamber of Commerce. It was a fantastic night with some truly great organizations being recognized for their efforts. Congratulations to our team of professionals who make us what we are and to the other winners in the various categories. Check us out in The Vaughan Citizen or at the Vaughan Chamber website at https://vaughanchamber.ca/2011-award-winners/

We are extremely proud to add Rona Hardware Stores to our distinguished list of customer/partners. We had the executive staff out to tour the facilities two weeks ago and they were so impressed by our depth and breadth of product offering that it was an immediate match.

About 9 months ago, I was approached by the Shulich School of Business and asked if I would be interested in being part of an EMBA Student program where they would send in a team of students to review our business and make recommendations for future growth. After many meetings, emails and phone conversations with our entire team, it was all culminated with a presentation last week by the students. Enes and his team must be commended for doing an outstanding job with an extremely thorough review of the businesses and making some great suggestions. Unfortunately, they left me with some more work to do and things to think about, but a great experience and one that will certainly help us ready ourselves for the future. Thanks to all.

The latest addition to our video library is finally complete. This video speaks to our partnership with Earth Rangers and talks about some of the Green Initiatives that we are working. I invite you to visit our channel on Youtube.com at Best Store Fixtures and watch all five

I went to see the inaugural UFC in Toronto with a group of clients last week. The big fight was a bore. The view was not good. There were plenty of monitors though and the environment was electric! 55,000 people in the Rogers Centre and they were rockin it!!!

Kid’s hockey is on in full force. The Impact Hockey tournament team lost the Championship game two weeks ago in a hard fought battle, but they received a shiny new medal for their efforts. We’ll try again this weekend to bring home the hardware. Good Luck Boys!

That’s all for now. Go Canucks!!!!!
