At 31 degrees celcius with 57% humidity, conditions for hockey are less than ideal.  But not at the new Bauer Own the Moment – Hockey Experience Store in Burlington, MA, USA.

With a successful grand opening on Saturday August 15, this is the first of 9, and what is being dubbed a historic venture for Bauer – providing its first ever store founded on unprecedented product education, brand awareness and product experience.

We hope Bauer will definitely get its fair share of press around the experience in store, the collection of the latest innovation and technology offered under one roof, and the overall success we hope this format provides to the brand.  But what does it take to outfit and make a store like this come to life?

580 detailed specification drawings. Over 500 custom parts manufactured for 110 custom fixtures.  Every custom fixture prototyped before final production.  Over 20 trailers of fixtures shipped – sourced and manufactured.  Over 2000 man-hours for fixture installation.

With any new concept we are involved in, the excitement comes in the proceeding stores where we can get creative with our retail clients on maintaining the experience of the first concept store while value engineering for efficiency of repeatable execution. Work is already underway on developing the next store in in Minneapolis, MN, USA.
